And the healing has begun

I would like to extend warm congratulations to guardian.co.uk, which responded to a tedious bus-slogan campaign in the most appropriate way: Launching a Web-based challenge for readers to write new counter-slogans. I'll leave it to others to debate the merits of Guardian editors' favorites, which include "A Lifetime of Sin / Is Worth the Risk / of an Eternity in Hell," or the excessively wordy but charming "There's Probably No Milk / Can You Nip to the Shop and Get Some / There's a Dear."

I do, perhaps too predictably, enjoy "Sometimes People Disagree / Now Stop Arguing / And Have a Cuppa."

My favorite counter-slogan, pictured here, comes from Anthony Sacramone at Strange Herring.

Any other ideas? Give it a whirl.
